Atheists and christians....what do you think about the following?
There's obviously a lot of complaints from christians about the fact that prayer was taken out of schools, and taking the "EVOLUTION IS JUST A THEORY" stickers off of science books.
What if we allowed prayer back in schools, but for every religion? Would you as a christian parent feel comfortable with your child praying next to a hindu, or muslim child?
What if we put the "EVOLUTION IS JUST A THEORY" sticker back on science books, but next to it added another that reads "CREATION IS JUST A THEORY"?
AMY.....I very well do understand the meaning f scientific theory as I fully accept this "THEORY". Considering you out of 28 people were the only one to point this out I must assume your narrow minded approach to answering te question.
Well, since Creation is not even taught in public school, I'd take it as a step in the right direction.
I send my son to Catholic school, so he prays Catholic prayers. If he were in public school, I'd have no problem with others praying their prayers around him, so long as he were free to pray in his way. It's school. They're there to learn. So long as no one tried to convert him, I think it would be great for him to see the way others pray.
